Welcome To CFIGChicagoland Foreign Investment Group

Chicagoland Foreign Investment Group (CFIG) is part of the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services’ Regional Center program, commonly referred to as the “EB-5 Pilot Program.” A USCIS designated Regional Center is any economic entity, public or private, which is involved with the promotion of economic growth, improved regional productivity, job creation and increased domestic capital investment.
The “EB-5 Pilot Program” is an Immigrant Investor program that affords foreign nationals the opportunity to become lawful permanent residents in the United States through investment in strategic, US-based economic development projects in various Regional Centers. In March of 2009, Chicagoland Foreign Investment Group became one of those Regional Centers and has since extended its designation area to include Northwest Indiana and parts of Wisconsin.
The Center’s boundaries include 14 counties in northeastern Illinois and 5 counties in northwestern Indiana, spanning all different types of business landscapes, from farmland to industrial areas and downtown sky rises.
